Could I be a Patron?
Anyone can become a patron of the arts. If you like you can become a life long patron of one or many artists, or you can make a one time donation for a specific project. Patrons come in all shapes, sizes and financial brackets. Every bit no matter how big or small makes a difference.
If you have always wanted to support the arts but not known how, we suggest you take a look through the web site to see if anything we are doing tweaks your interest. You can make an immediate difference in our creative lives!
As a patron of the arts, you can see directly where your money is going, who is using it and how it is being used. It is an enjoyable experience to be involved in the development and production of new artistic work. Helping to bring original artistic growth and works to fruition gives you as a patron a satisfying sense of accomplishment.
As you may know, governmental funding sources for the arts are dwindling every year. Your patronage may be the only direct funding some artists may receive. The arts, in all its myriad of forms, need to be cherished and honored. Creation of art is a large part of what makes us human beings. Art can cross the barriers of language and cultures because it is an innate part of our humanity. Unfortunately, although we could not live without art, we as a society often don't place as high of a monetary value on art as we do a personal value. The arts need patrons and patrons need the arts. Together they both make the world a better place to live.
