Free Flow Update - March 2007
Jackie Latendresse had a fantastic experience working as the manager for Team Sask for the Canada Winter Games.
She also worked as the assistant stage manager for the big theatrical production at the Yukon Arts Centre which
was the culmination of 2 weeks of hard work by program participants.
The show: Defining Moments went off without a hitch and many new friends and contacts were made along the way.
Whitehorse is a beautiful city with many great little boutiques and cafes.
Seeing the Klondike Rear Wheeler Boat was a highlight and watching Team Nunavut accidentally set off the alarm
on it while trying to get a group photo was hilarious!
Upon returning to Saskatoon group classes began right away!
Modern dance is being held at the Refinery and Intro to classic Burlesque style classes run out of Positive Passions.
The Burlesque co. Rosebud Burlesque Club had a ton of fun running an info booth and performing at Carnival of Sex,
an event hosted by the University of Saskatchewan healthy sexuality organizations.
Headmistress Cheripop Purr performed a traditional Stocking Strip ala Film Noir style and KoKo Kobra
premiered with a parasol number that had the fans hitting the ceiling and cheering the roof down!
The 3rd annual Saskatoon Dirty Bingo was held on March 31st and was met with great enthusiasm once again.
Fantastic performances by the Rosebud Burlesque Club (including a group piece featuring KoKo Kobra,
Betty Bon Bon, Vaux de Ville, Hellen Bedde and Headmistress Cheripop Purr also Thanks to our maid Kieran),
Miss Ingrid ( aka Ryan), Kyle Syverson and Laura Margita.
Our guest Bingo Callers were the lovely and talented Mz. Cindy Baker and Megan Mormen.
A special thanks go out to all of our volunteers (of which there were many!) and of course to our prize sponsors for the event:
